Pelvic & Core Control

Pelvic and core control is one of the most important foundations of hamstring rehab. Long periods in an anterior pelvic tilt keep the hamstrings lengthened and under strain.
Good control of the pelvis and trunk means the hamstrings are not constantly overloaded during running, hinging and other lower-body movement.
Posterior Chain Strength
A glute bridge with the BackAware Belt — feedback keeps the pelvis level so the glutes and hamstrings share the load.
The hamstrings work closely with the glutes and calves as part of the posterior chain. If the glutes are weak, the hamstrings often have to do too much.
A good programme strengthens the whole chain — hamstrings, glutes and calves — so the load is shared properly and progressed over time.
Good Technique
Holding a strong plank with the belt — good technique keeps the trunk stable so the right muscles do the work.
It is not enough to do the exercises — you need to do them well. Poor technique lets the wrong muscles take over or overloads the hamstrings.This matters most in bridges, RDLs, deadlifts, split squats, sliders and eccentric hamstring work, where good form loads the hamstrings safely.

The hamstring is influenced by the trunk, pelvis, hips, knees, calves and feet — if the chain is not working, it takes too much strain.A strong plan includes whole-body movements — squats, lunges, hinges, step-ups, balance and running drills — so hamstring strength transfers into real movement.
Sprint Mechanics
High-speed running loads the hamstrings hard — rebuilding efficient sprint mechanics is key to returning to sport safely.
Hamstrings are heavily involved in high-speed running. Poor mechanics — overstriding, weak pelvic control, inefficient leg action — expose them to repeated strain.
A good programme rebuilds running speed and sprint mechanics gradually, not just strength — which is when many injuries return if rushed.
