• 1. Focus on more than just the hamstring.

The hamstrings attach at the pelvis- When the pelvis is not moving correctly then the hamstrings have to work harder.
Getting the Pelvis moving better gives less work for the hamstrings.

  • 2. Better Pelvic Control

Studies show that lack of control at the pelvis can overly stretch the hamstrings. Our BackAware Protocols teach much better pelvic control again taking pressure off the hamstrings.

  • 3. Develop Glute Strength

Often the hamstrings are over-working because the glutes are weak. Again, with good pelvic control we must get the glutes firing to allow the
hamstrings to do less work and recover.

  • 4. Running Drills

A lot of hamstring issues occur when running. We need to teach you specific drills to improve co-ordination of the hamstrings when running.

  • 5. Eccentric Hamstring Length

Finally focusing on hamstring health is essential. Again BackAware Belt makes sure you are doing all the exercises correctly so you are truly
    targeting the hamstrings.

  • 1. BackAware Belt

Technique is crucial for pelvic control in hamstring rehab. The BackAware gives you feedback by seeing your position on the screen and vibrating when you lose control.

  • 2. Follow along Hamstring Rehab and our Pilates.

Follow along Videos for a comprehensive Hamstring Rehab to cover all the key elements not just focusing on the hamstrings.

  • 3. Insurance accepted.

As the BackAware plan is developed by Chartered Physiotherapist Dr. Eoin Everard, we can provide receipt for online Physio consultation so you can claim back money.

    2 Years of Hamstring issues

I have had 2 years of hamstring issues that have stopped me playing. Eoin identified the cause of the problem and for the first year I can not have to think about my hamstring when playing and feel like I can sprint again.

    Fixed my Hamstring

Had pain right up by the insertion of the hamstring and couldn't shift it. What I really enjoyed was that the focus on the whole injury. It involved fixing pelvic control, running mechanics and improving hip mobility. It all helped.

“Too often, people are let down by medical professionals. No one ever shows them how manage their back pain. They are given painkillers, which can destroy the lining of the stomach, or get temporary relief through treatment or just told to accept it.

The long-term solution is to get correct exercises for your specific back pain and then you do them correctly with the BackAware Belt. This can go a huge way to getting you out of pain, feeling better and ultimately having a healthier and more active life. For more information click here.
